Although the powder is vermilion, the authenticity of genuine kumkumam is by the faint yellow mark it leaves on the container and on skin. There it scores full marks. I had an issue though. Though organic, it must not have foreign objects. Hence 4 stars.

Namaste. If you have used Anahata kumkum it leaves a faint yellow mark since it is made with pure turmeric, lime & pine screw flower.

I have never seen this quality of kumkum...I just love it...this kumkum never leave stain on the skin ...
