Direction For use
Soak 35 grams tamarind for 20 minutes, squeeze out the pulp, dilute with 1.5 cups water. In a heated pan, add 1 tbsp sesame oil, 2 red chillies, some mustard seeds, curry leaves & hing. Add the tamarind water and some small onions or diced vegetables with some turmeric and salt and let it boil for 10 minutes. Add 2 heaped teaspoons of the Anahata Vathakozhumbu Podi. Let this boil on slow flame for another 20 minutes. Garnish with some coriander. Add two tablespoons for a serving of four.
